Privacy policy
Last updated March 2026. ProjectRecap is operated by Worbee EOOD in Bulgaria, EU.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the GitHub OAuth credentials needed to connect your repositories. We only store the access tokens required to fetch repository activity for you.
ProjectRecap reads commit history, pull request metadata, issue metadata, and release data from the GitHub repositories you connect. We use that data to generate weekly recaps, project views, and delivery signals. We do not read your source code or file contents.
We use your data only to run the service: generate recaps, calculate project metrics, and send the notifications you enable. We do not sell your data. We do not share it except with providers we use to run the service, such as hosting and transactional email, or when the law requires it.
The marketing site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The app uses a session cookie so you can stay signed in.
You can disconnect repositories or delete your account at any time. When you do, we remove the related data from our systems within a reasonable period. We may keep anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you.
We use standard security measures, including TLS, secure credential storage, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
For privacy questions or data requests, email [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
